There is a new app available on the App Store for better writing Nepali in iOS devices. You can use Nepali Keyboard for your iPhone or iPad or iPod that runs in iOS to type in Nepali and send emails, text message, post to social networks like Facebook and Twitter, or say search Google and YouTube, or you name it.
Nepali Keyboard for iOS 2.0 is now available for download. This free update includes a completely redesigned interface, a new layout with added letters that were missing from the first version, a help button that demonstrates how to type Nepali conjunct letters (half-letters), a new sharing menu with icons, a “copy” button, and many other improvements. Also, English words have been replaced with Nepali words in the app.
Nepali Keyboard for iOS is for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. This Nepali Keyboard for iOS is a custom keyboard application for typing in Nepali. Features include:
- – send emails and text messages in Nepali
- – post to Facebook and Twitter in Nepali
- – search the web in Nepali
- – switch between the custom Nepali keyboard and any iPhone keyboard (for example, if you want to type an email address in the middle of a Nepali message)
- – keyboard includes numbers and punctuation
The layout of this Nepali keyboard for iPhone is similar to QWERTY keyboard as the alphabets and symbols are placed according to the frequency of use. Sadly this is a paid app , which can be purchased from the App store for 0.99$. Please, note that Nepali language is NOT available as a default keyboard layout in iOS, and this app won’t do the default job.
